A Family Affair NPC can be used as story hooks to involve characters.

Looking at a Spring Covenant.

Need a common goal/purpose.

Down play the OoH.

Character conflict? Drama is okay. Use meta game to make sure we like the story/relationships.

Grogs die. Grogs have preferred players.

Companions are optional. If you want to play one make one.

Meta game keep communicate open to help the in game story be more fun or involving.

We will have a bursty tempo. Clusters of stories with periods of longer term development.

Setting in and around Marseille. A manor in a magical aura, a town house, and a ship.

Time 1250. A good generation or two after the Albigensian Crusades.

A decent library based off Summas.

Magus ideas: AM - ambitious fugitive - needs work. AG - Alchemist. BF - rejected apprentice struggles. VG - TBD

Evil is evil and Good is good.

Discussed topics to avoid.

Same age + or - a few years.

Share the spotlight. Be wary of conflicting with Grog/Companion talents. Gift affects are there for a reason. Think twice before taking the Gentle Gift.

Vis economy. Low enough that we don't set up an Aegis every season.

Avoid going Regeo crazy.

We want good maps.

We want covenant history.

Share purpose? Help people? Shared Cult? Hermes thrice great? Common backstory - we are all blood relatives. A common Grandfather with diverse parents, location, and of course Pater/Mater. Grogs (Custos) are trusted family.

City or country? A mix. One of us inherits the old abandoned family estate. (Ghosts? Magic past?)

AM can be the inheritor if it does not fit in anyone else's backstory.
