Edgar the Good was a grog of Stranggore from 1194-1196. He then departed with [[Peregrine]] on a lengthy quest, got lost in Faerieland, and accompanied Peregrine on his move to the Scottish covenant of Manar House in 1200.

He is big and not bright.  He can be manipulated easily but years of diciplined training under [[Robert of the Evil Eye]] has left him with moral guidelines which earned him the nickname the Good.  He grew up in the Scottish Lowlands and knows the footpaths pretty well.
