Joseph is the "cousin" of Catherine the chamber-maid (in fact, people suspect he's her illegitimate son). He lives at the covenant and helps with general chores. He also works as a messenger-boy.
Joseph was born around 1185, so he is a couple of years older than Rhys. The two boys are playmates and have a good-natured rivalry.
Notable Abilities
Joseph frequently runs back and forth between the covenant and Barstow. He's a good runner.
In Summer 1198, George the Bastard started Joseph on weapons training. He also started Valera teaching the boy Latin.
Personality
Joseph was raised at Stranggore and spent too much time with Brian the Mad. He has some strange habits and beliefs, including talking to "ghosts" (which, for him, are completely imaginary) and hoarding interesting things. He has weak social skills and doesn't understand the daily lives of mundanes.
