Maurice de Merlon is the previous owner of Casa sus Baux, who died in early 1230 and bequeathed the estate to Duran de Merlon.
Maurice was not a magus, but he must have been aware there were magi in the family because his will stipulated that all four magi in the family be brought together to live in the manor.
