Carax is a mighty and ancient dragon who lives in the Brecon Beacons of Wales. The Dragon Carax

Tribute

The Wizards' Council of Stranggore owes tribute to the dragon in the amount of one pawn of vis per year, payable every one-and-twenty years. Contrary to what one might think, this tribute is not extortion to prevent the dragon from attacking, but instead has something to do with maintaining the covenant's Flickering Aura.

The next tribute payments are due in 1213 and 1234.

Appearance

Carax is an enormous dragon, at least a hundred and fifty feet long with a head fifteen feet from snout to crown. He has scales of a coppery-reddish metallic color and breathes fire.

  • Size: +12
  • Might: unknown, probably 40+

Personality

Carax sleeps most of the time. Like most dragons he is very self-centered and likes to intimidate people. He appears to care little for the affairs of mortals.
