Oxford is the Academic Center of England and the covenant of Schola Pythagoranis has integrated itself into every aspect of it. The covenant only admits Gentle Gifted magi and many of the local Magisters are infact magi. James was educated in Oxford and his first paren Constance was a member of this covenant.
