Randolph's faerie hound was offered as a boon for saving Princess Muriel. The Hound has the Inexorable Hunter power is from pg 31 of RoP: Magic and once the hound has picked up a scent, it won't lose it (for Sun Duration) unless the effect fails to penetrate. The power is unreliable at best in a Divine Aura.
Although Amadán has a character sheet as a grog, it is not an intelligent creature and (for simplicity) doesn't accrue Experience Points or advance as a character.
