Travelling from Place to Place

Travelling from place to place varies based on various conditions such as the road, the weather, and the well-being of the travellers. Generally one can walk about 3 miles per hour on a good road in good weather while unencumbered and uninjured, or about 30 miles. Travel by horseback is faster, about 30 miles a day, and allows one to travel while encumbered.
