(We have been treating Tim and Duran as cousins and not nephew and uncle, so I moved Duran's mother to be the youngest child of Hugh III Lord of Baux, and the generations make more sense this way I believe.)

The House of Baux is the noble family which controls Marseille and the surrounding area.

Hugh III Lord of Baux and Viscount of Marseille is the patriarch of the family and all the noble families are either related to him or owe allegiance to him.
