Note: We haven't played this story yet. This page is just for public notes planning for the Tribunal meeting.

The Tribunal lasts a minimum of 2 nights, and more likely five or six nights. It convenes after sunset each night. Magi use spells to ensure clear and seasonable weather.

Pre-Tribunal Festivities

  • Magi have a chance to catch up on rumors and happenings since the last Tribunal
  • Opportunity to negotiate trades of books and vis. Enchanted items may be offered for sale.
  • Games and amusements for the grogs and apprentices.

Session 1: Convocation and External Affairs

This is where the Tribunal discusses external affairs: relations with the nobles, the Church, other mundanes, faerie courts, demons and diabolists, etc. Promises to be a lively session.

  • Formal introduction of all the magi, determination of quorum
    • New magi announced at this time
  • Cercle Cassée will certainly have an update on diabolic activity
  • The matter of the demon abbot will probably be announced

Session 2

  • Hearing on whether Thorin should be tried as a magus. Possibly followed by trial.
  • Complaints from magi about inflation. Angry accusations about circulating too much magical silver.
  • Announcement of the Wizard's March of Jonas of Wells and Caballus's role in meting out justice.

Trial Procedure

  1. Private hearing to determine the facts. Settlement is possible if both parties agree.
  2. Public hearing to debate merits of law
  3. Penalties or restitution
