Mother Emma is an aged maga of Blackthorn, the most senior of the covenant's delegation to the Stonehenge Tribunal of 1194.

Appearance

Mother Emma looks like a withered, toothless crone. She is thin and wiry with a prominent, sharp nose. This, combined with her darting eyes, give her a birdlike demeanor. She wears frayed robes of plain (but fine) black wool.

She prefers to let others do the talking, and sit back and observe the conversation.

Her faerie familiar is usually invisible but can be perceived as a cold draught or a flitting shadow.

Reputation

  • Wise (Hermetic) 4
  • Wicked (Hermetic) 2

Magical Powers

Mother Emma is known as a consummate caster of hexes and curses. It is likely that she enjoys a Magical Focus in this area.

Relationships

Mother Emma appeared at the Stonehenge Tribunal of 1194 alongside Marcus of Blackthorn and Otho.

It is not difficult to discover that Marcus is Mother Emma's filius.
