Notable Events

Several new magi were inducted into the Order of Hermes:

In addition, three magi moved into the Stonehenge Tribunal, having sworn the Oath elsewhere:

  • Hywel Mawr moved to Stranggore from Hibernia
  • Caballus moved to Stranggore from Loch Leglean
  • Ibramhin adb al-Bari' moved to Cad Gadu from Iberia

Cabaullus met and wooed the young maga Fredegisa of House Guernicus. At the time, he did not know she was a Quaesitor! His successful pursuit of the fair but cool maiden earned him a reputation for élan within his House.

External Affairs

At every session, the Tribunal selects a champion to enforce its justice. William Fireheart of Ungulus was the only nominee and was elected without debate.

Hubert de Barbes announced to the Tribunal that he had seen seven diabolists convicted in England since the last Tribunal. None of them were magi. Most were executed by mundane authorities (Hubert's allies), but two corrupt monks repented and were spared by the Church.

Internal Affairs

Hugo of the Crimson Brotherhood put forward a motion to enter into the Tribunal records that Sandre's father is the Duke of Bedford. The motion failed. Merewen pointed out after the Tribunal that although Sandre's parentage is not written into the records, it was the subject of discussion for several minutes and now everyone knows about it.

Torkel lost his Gift and there was debate over what to do with him. House Mercere accepted him as an apprentice and he became a Redcap.

The magi of Schola Pythagoranis offer a standing bounty of twenty pawns of vis for any of the lost works of Aristotle, or five pawns for any lost work of other classical authors. (Note: this seems low in light of the amount of vis available in our Saga; I may want to retroactively increase it if anyone takes interest in pursuing the bounty.)
