Stonehenge Tribunal of 1201

Note: We haven't played this story yet. This page is just for public notes planning for the Tribunal meeting.
The Tribunal lasts a minimum of 2 nights, and more likely five or six nights. It convenes after sunset each night. Magi use spells to ensure clear and seasonable weather.
Pre-Tribunal Festivities
- Magi have a chance to catch up on rumors and happenings since the last Tribunal
- Opportunity to negotiate trades of books and vis. Enchanted items may be offered for sale.
- Games and amusements for the grogs and apprentices.
Session 1: Convocation and External Affairs
This is where the Tribunal discusses external affairs: relations with the nobles, the Church, other mundanes, faerie courts, demons and diabolists, etc. Promises to be a lively session.
- Formal introduction of all the magi, determination of quorum
- New magi announced at this time
- Cercle Cassée will certainly have an update on diabolic activity
- The matter of the demon abbot will probably be announced
Session 2
- Hearing on whether Thorin should be tried as a magus. Possibly followed by trial.
- Complaints from magi about inflation. Angry accusations about circulating too much magical silver.
- Announcement of the Wizard's March of Jonas of Wells and Caballus's role in meting out justice.
Trial Procedure
- Private hearing to determine the facts. Settlement is possible if both parties agree.
- Public hearing to debate merits of law
- Penalties or restitution
