Erian's Unwelcome Mat

Erian's Unwelcome Mat is an invested device that Erian of Merinita created as used as a trap to guard his laboratory. It is a stone slab that casts Hands of the Grasping Earth on anyone who steps on it. The exact enchantments are unknown, but there must be at least an Intellego effect with a linked trigger to allow the trap to spring.

This device is currently located in the disused, basement laboratory formerly occupied by Erian of Merinita. It's right inside the doorway.
