Oath of Stranggore

Every Winter, the magi renew the following oath:

I hereby pledge my service as a member of the ancient and honorable Wizards' Council of Stranggore. By this blood I bind myself to the land of Stranggore and to my brother and sister wizards of this Council. I pledge to safeguard the realm and to devote my powers and my wisdom to its well-being. I pledge also to make common cause with my fellow wizards of this Council: to aid them in their causes, to take arms against their enemies, to share with them the fruits and the burdens of our fief, and to uphold their honor as they uphold mine. With the help of almighty God, this I swear.
