Winchester

A large town rich in resources both natural and magical, Winchester was a natural choice for a home when the Order of Hermes was forced to abandon their ancestral home, The Halls of the Stranggore. Winchester Castle was Stranggore's home from 817 until the coming of William the Conqueror when the new king made it known that he desired the castle at which point the Covenant moved again to it's current location outside of Wells.

Winchester has become a site of religious importance with Winchester Cathedral, Hyde Abbey, and Nunnaminster nunnery.
