Iudicium is the senior Quaesitor of the Stonehenge Tribunal. He is technically an eremite but he has lived for several years as a "guest" of the covenant of Aquae Sulis.

Iudicium is a rotund, middle-aged magus who likes to play the jolly fool. He enjoys food, wine, laughter, music, and the company of young women. He is also a keen judge of character and a very effective investigator.

Service Record

Iudicium officially replaced the previous senior Quaesitor, Phineas, in 1173. According to magi who were active in Tribunal affairs at the time, Iudicium was sent by House Guernicus to replace Phineas because Phineas was old and lazy and generally good for nothing. Before that, he served for 21 years in the Roman Tribunal, mostly prosecuting illicit sale of enchanted items and other mundane interference.

During Iudicium's tenure, the keeping of Tribunal records has become more thorough. He appointed Redcaps to act as notaries and has ordered duplicate records of the Tribunal proceedings made because he doesn't trust Cad Gadu to safely preserve the originals. He keeps the copies, though he doesn't advertise they exist.

As the senior Quaesitor of the Tribunal, Iudicium by tradition is now responsible for prosecuting all High Crimes.
