Tobias is a magical, talking owl whom Agnes and Eustace helped escape from the abandoned sanctum formerly owned by Astia. He told the youngsters that he lives in Godwyn's Chase.

Paul met Tobias in the Summer of 1201.
Tobias also helped Agnes and Eustace in the story, Echoes of Lughnasadh in Spring 1204.
