Amadán was a faerie hound and companion to Randolph, who was killed in battle in the story Rebel Without a Pater (Spring 1208).

Amadán was originally given as a boon to Randolph for saving Princess Muriel in the story of James' Gauntlet.

Although Amadán has a character sheet as a grog, it is not an intelligent creature. For simplicity, it doesn't accrue Experience Points or advance as a character.

Appearance

Amadán is a lymer, a heavy-jowled dog similar to the modern bloodhound, bred and trained to track silently and relentlessly by scent. It looks like a cross between a bloodhound and a mastiff, but has unnatural coloring: a milk-white coat and red ears.
