As is the custom in the Stonehenge Tribunal, the conclave of 1201 was held at Stonehenge itself, meeting for several nights right after the autumnal equinox.

Pre-Tribunal Gathering

Magi gather for a few days before the Tribunal to socialize, barter vis, lab materials, and enchanted items, discuss magic, and intrigue. They pitch their pavilions on Salisbury Plain.

The normally festive atmosphere before the Tribunal was nervous and subdued. There was a lot of concern over news that Criamon magi had returned from Twilight with dire tidings, and everyone knew there would be a diabolism trial at this Tribunal.

Sandre Won his Sigil

Sandre challenged his pater, Garvonn, to claim his sigil by force. Justina decreed they would compete in certamen at sunset the night before the Tribunal.

Garvonn selected the Art of Rego for their duel. Sandre select Herbam. The two magi were fairly evenly matched in those Arts, but Sandre easily prevailed through the liberal use of vis during the duel.

Sandre's new sigil is his Talisman, the staff.

Call to Order

Immanola of House Ex Miscellanea was in Twilight (possibly Final Twilight). Mother Emma of Blackthorn was the next oldest maga and had been proclaimed Praeco by the Quaesitores in advance.

First, all magi of the Tribunal attending announce:

  • Their names and Houses
  • Whether they have moved their sancta to or within the Stonehenge Tribunal
  • The names, Houses, and Tribunal of residence of any magi whose proxy sigils they carry

William Fireheart was still in Twilight.

Session 2: Internal Affairs

  • No magus of House Criamon has emerged from Wizard's Twilight in the past ten years.
  • A discussion on how to deal with the inflation problem was added to the Internal Affairs meeting.
  • A magus of Aquae Sulis, Regillus admitted to diabolism. This resulted in a lengthy discussion.

Regillus was corrupted by a demon he thought was the ghost of a Roman soldier.
The ghost tricked him into using infernal Vis in his Longevity Ritual.
Then the ghost threatened to turn him in to the Order of Hermes
if he didn't help the ghost spy on other Magi the ghost thought corruptible.
He did as the ghost bid for several years,
but spent most of that time studying to escape the creatures clutches.
He learned enough Rego Vim to create a ward that would keep the demon out of his sanctum, and began living in it.
His sodales became concerned and notified the Quaesitors.
Regillus confessed to his crimes, and begged for mercy.
The tribunal, in an effort to encourage diabolists to turn themselves in, granted him leniency.
Regillus is under house arrest for the rest of his life, in an Aegis which he has no token for.
