Sandre

Background

Born William de Gallios, Sandre is a son of the Duke of Bedford, a Norman. Sandre's gift was discovered very early in his life and his father, ever looking for power and advantage, was quick to give him up as an apprentice of the Order. Sandre was apprenticed to Garvonn a magus of Amici Britanniae. Sandre passed his gauntlet on his first try, but has not earned his sigil from Garvonn. Shortly after becoming a Magus of the Order, Sandre traveled to Stranggore to stay for a season as a guest. At the end of the season, Sandre was offered the opportunity of membership at Stranggore and accepted.

Conflicts

Sandre has come into conflict with two members of the Crimson Brotherhood, and beaten a third in the Certamen Tournament. He is not thought of well by this covenant, and he does not think well of them either.
Sandre and his family were briefly in touch after he became a full Magus, but they are no longer on speaking terms.
Sandre has discovered a demon in a regio in an abondoned monestary. He seeks the power to destroy the evil monster.

1199: Spring

• [[]]: Sandre and James hunt down Osric the Black.
• I Shall Be First: Sandre and James find the White Wizard.
• Lost Along the Way: Sandre, Bill and Eustace set out to meet Argus who has located the white wizard. They make a detour, then get lost.

1198: Spring

• Trail of the White Wizard: Sandre takes Bill and John to Bath to hunt for Stephen.

1196: Winter

• Twisted Web: Sandre traveled with Caballus to find the Sanctum of Jonas of Wells. In it they found vis and Infernally tainted clothes.
• Judgement for Jonas: Sandre attended the council meeting, and spoke with many Magi casually. He witnessed the Quaesitor bringing evidence against Jonas of Wells, and was quite impressed.
  

1196: Summer

• A Ghostly Maga: Sandre and Agnes saw the Maga
  

1196: Spring

• Spring Cleaning: Anges asked Sandre for help with a discovery she made in the basement. Sandre learned of an albino named Steven who is lurking near the covenant.
  
• Trouble on the Doorstep: Sandre, along with the rest of the covenant, faced ghostly, mounted warriors.
  

1195: Summer

• The Devil's Snare
  
• On the Road to Saint Giles: He, along with Caballus, swore a hedge mage named Mericas into the Order of Hermes.
  

1194: Fall

• Stonehenge Tribunal of 1194: Sandre attended the tribunal, and Hugo of the Crimson Brotherhood called to have Sandre's lineage put on record.

1194: Spring

• The Certamen Tournament: Sandre won the Apprentice Certamen duel at the Tribunal Tourament.
  

1193: Fall

• Sandre officially joins the Covenant of Stranggore.
  

1193: Summer

• The Intruding Magus: Sandre beat a member of the Crimson Brotherhood in Certamen, forcing him out of the area for 7 years.
  

1193: Spring

• Sandre's Gauntlet: Sandre passes his gauntlet.

Sandre passed his gauntlet as a generalist, having equal ability in almost every art.
Since joining Stranggore, Sandre's studies have focused on Intellego, Mentem, and Vim.
